Remote PC support

Many IT related issues can be resolved through remote support where we log into your PC for assistance, saving you time and call-out fees. Whatever hardware can’t be repaired or serviced onsite can be taken offsite to our workshop.

What It Is.

  • Virtual Control: The helper uses their own keyboard and mouse to operate your device from a different location.
  • Permission-Based: Connection requires explicit authorization from the device owner via a unique code or password.
  • Dual Visibility: Both the user and the helper see the exact same screen activity simultaneously.

How It Is Done (Step-by-Step)

  1. Software Installation: Both users open a remote desktop application (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Windows Quick Assist).
  2. Code Generation: The user receiving help generates a unique, temporary session ID and passcode.
  3. Credential Sharing: The user shares these credentials with the technician via phone, chat, or email.
  4. Connection Establishment: The technician enters the credentials into their software to request access.
  5. Access Approval: The user clicks “Allow” or “Accept” on a security prompt to open the connection.
  6. Troubleshooting: The technician diagnoses issues, installs software, or changes settings while the user watches.
  7. Termination: Either party terminates the session at any time, instantly revoking control.
